Confirmation

- The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated in our churches on December 15, 2024.
  Our Lady of the Atonement at 12:30pm
  St. John Vianney at 3:00pm
  The Sacrament is open to all young people who are presently in grade 8 or older and have a desire to be active in their Catholic Faith.
  If you have already submitted a Registration Form, we thank you. If you have not, please complete the form and return to us as soon as possible. Our Office is located in the Atonement Family Centre at Our Lady of the Atonement Parish, 2940 Forest Glade Drive.

  Information Meetings
  This meeting is for parents and confirmation candidates. Please come to one of the meetings, regardless of which church you attend.
  Thursday, September 12 at 6:30pm at Our Lady of the Atonement Church
  Sunday, September 15 at 1:00pm at St. John Vianney Church
  
  Commitment Ceremonies - Weekend of September 28 & 29
  At Mass, Confirmation candidates will be asked to commit to the Sacrament with their parish community. Again, you may choose either location, regardless of which church or school your family is affiliated with.
  Our Lady of the Atonement: Saturday, September 28 at 5:00pm; Sunday, September 29 at 8:30am or 10:30am
  St. John Vianney: Saturday, September 28 at 5:00pm; Sunday, September 29 at 9:30am
  
  Confirmation Classes
  These meetings are for the candidates. All of these meetings are at Our Lady of the Atonement Church except for Class #4. The 4th meeting will include rehearsal for Confirmation. Candidates must attend the meeting at the same location as their confirmation.
  Meeting 1:
  Group A - Wednesday, October 2 from 6-8pm
  Group B - Thursday, October 3 from 6-8pm
  
  Meeting 2:
  Group A - Wednesday, October 23 from 6-8pm
  Group B - Thursday, October 24 from 6-8pm
  
  Meeting 3:
  Group A - Wednesday, November 13 from 6-8pm
  Group B - Thursday, November 14 from 6-8pm
  
  Meeting 4 - Rehearsal (Attend the same location where your confirmation will take place.)
  Wednesday, December 4 from 6-8pm at St. John Vianney
  Thursday, December 5 from 6-8pm at Our Lady of the Atonement
