Mercy & LoveSuggested Lenten donations to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Food Cupboards
1st Sunday of Lent - Mar 8/9
Bring in hot cereal mix (oatmeal), pasta, cereal, jam, peanut butter, pasta sauce, pancake mix, syrup, tea & coffee
2nd Sunday of Lent - Mar 15/16
Bring in toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, bars of soap, deodorant, shampoo, disposable razors, shaving cream, kleenex, toilet paper
3rd Sunday of Lent - March 22/23
Bring in canned meat, tuna, soup, pork & beans, canned vegetables, canned tomatoes
4th Sunday of Lent – Mar 29/30
Bring in pudding snacks, canned fruit, cookies, granola bars, crackers, dish soap, laundry detergent pods (society will make family size packs for distribution)
5th Sunday of Lent –Solidarity Sunday- April 6/7
Annual Share Lent Collection for Development & Peace - Caritas Canada (cheques payable to your regular parish) envelopes in offertory box or at the back of the church.
